Senior Mens Team
St. Finian’s GAA club have two adult men’s teams which have a collective panel of over 50 players.
Our Intermediate Adult Team are currently in Division 3 in the league and compete the intermediate championship. The team have been very successful in the past five years winning the junior championship in 2018 and getting promoted from AFL 3 in 2019.
The team are under the management of Shane Traynor, Tommy Dunbar and Paddy McGary, and are always on the lookout for new members to join the squad. The team train twice a week with games on Sunday mornings in the Spring and Saturday evenings during the Summer. Anyone interested in joining call Ian on 0851109950.
Our Junior Adult Team are currently in Division 11 of the Dublin leagues and compete in the Junior Championship. The team have reformed in the last two years and were very unlucky not to be promoted to a higher division last year. The team train once a week and play on Thursday evenings during Spring and Sunday afternoons during Summer. The team are managed by Mick Kelly and Tony Burn. Our Intermediate Adult Team are currently in Division 4 in the league and compete the Junior championship. The team have been very competitive in both competitions over the past five years and have been unlucky not to make the playoffs in the league or the later stages of the championship.
The team are under the management of Gavin Coyle and Mark Bennet, two former players turned coach, and are always on the lookout for new members to join the squad.
